Day 2: Golf in Rotorua
Today, choose between two of Rotorua’s standout golf experiences:
- Arikikapakapa Rotorua Golf Club – A historic course unlike any other, where geothermal steam vents and bubbling mud pools line the fairways. This unique volcanic landscape adds both beauty and challenge to your round.
- Lakeview Golf Club – True to its name, this scenic course offers sweeping views over Lake Rotorua and the surrounding countryside. With its elevated tees and peaceful setting, it’s a favourite for those seeking a tranquil round. The new clubhouse is perfectly positioned to take in the views from the 18th while you enjoy a cold beverage.
After golf, enjoy a relaxed evening in town. Head to Eat Streat, Rotorua’s vibrant dining precinct, where you’ll find everything from gourmet burgers to lakeside fine dining. If the weather’s warm, consider a swim and sunset picnic at one of the nearby lakes—Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) and Lake Okareka are both local favourites.

Day 3: Discover Rotorua's Geothermal and Cultural Heart
Take a break from the fairways and immerse yourself in the unique wonders of Rotorua, a region rich in Māori culture and geothermal marvels.
Start your day at Te Puia, home to the famous Pōhutu Geyser, bubbling mud pools, and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute. Witness traditional carving and weaving, and gain insight into the stories and traditions of Aotearoa NZ's indigenous people.
